V rokoch 2016 a 2017 podnikol Hans Zimmer so svojou filmovou hudbou dve rozsiahle celosvetové turné. Významnou zložkou turné bola aj mohutná svetelná show svetelného designera Marca Brickmana, spolupracujúceho napríklad s Pink Floyd. V rámci koncertov v Poľsku (Gdansk, Lodž, Krakov), Bratislave a Prahe sa na oboch Zimmerových turné podieľal aj Český národný symfonický orchester a český zmiešaný zbor. S nimi bol tiež v Prahe nahraný oficiálny záznam koncertu na DVD a LP Hans Zimmer: Live in Prague.
